About the Training & Practicum

The Office of the Vice Provost for Institutional Inclusive Excellence leads a Dialogue Facilitation Training & Practicum for any faculty, staff, or graduate students interested in leading dialogue programs at Tufts. The experience will include a two-day intensive training and a subsequent semester-long practicum. Those who wish to continue on to the practicum will be given priority registration for the training.

The two-day training will provide community members with opportunities to learn and practice dialogue facilitation skills. The practicum provides an opportunity for participants to put these skills into practice by facilitating an OVPIIE dialogue program this fall: Dialogue for Change, for graduate students or staff to facilitate; Dialogue in the Workplace, for staff and faculty to facilitate; and Tufts Table, for staff, faculty, and/or students to facilitate. Participants will receive additional training and support from OVPIIE throughout the fall semester as they lead dialogues with their peers.

This Training & Practicum is available to all staff, faculty, and graduate students.
