[For Faculty, Staff, and Students]

The Foundations Learning Series is a suite of workshops exploring essential themes that build awareness, knowledge, and skills in support of inclusive excellence. Designed for the broader Tufts community, the series offers accessible, core learning opportunities and cultivates a shared learning experience and understanding.

The Foundations Learning Series aims to:

  • Build foundational understanding of key concepts related to inclusive excellence across the Tufts community
  • Equip participants with practical frameworks and tools to operationalize inclusive excellence in their daily interactions, the workplace, and learning environments
  • Provide baseline learning opportunities that are open to all members of the Tufts community
  • Foster a shared learning experience that promotes common language, awareness, and engagement

The Foundations Learning Series consists of two parallel tracks, allowing students and employees to engage with content that is relevant to their roles and experiences within the Tufts community.

Each session introduces the selected theme, inviting participants to engage in self-reflection, deepen their understanding of the topic, and develop practical skills and strategies relevant to their experiences as students or employees.

This series serves as a foundational entry point for ongoing collective learning and aligns closely with our broader inclusive educational programming strategy. Grounded in our commitment to connection, learning, dialogue, and collaboration, each session creates opportunities for relationship-building and learning in community.
