If you are a dialogue practitioner at Tufts, we invite you to apply for IIE’s Dialogue Community of Practice! In IIE, a Community of Practice (CoP) is a learning community of practitioners or individual contributors, across the university that meets regularly to share information, knowledge, and experiences to sharpen skills and perspectives in the identified area or field. Grounded in inclusive excellence, CoPs have a shared purpose to elevate best practices within a specific domain by co-creating knowledge, resources, and enhanced self-awareness.

We elevate best practices in dialogue by:

  • Workshopping scenarios and/or challenges faced in spaces, programs, or classrooms at Tufts.
  • Being in dialogue together about difficult issues locally, nationally, and globally. (Dialogues on these topics are rooted in academic articles that are read ahead of the gathering and the experiences of those in the group.)
  • Participating in dialogic activities together to sharpen our skills and learn from one another.
  • Sharing resources on dialogue.

The Dialogue CoP is a learning community of dialogue practitioners that meets monthly to discuss best practices, work through challenges to dialogue, sharpen dialogic skills, and contribute to a vision of dialogue at Tufts. This community is for individuals who actively contribute to dialogue as an art and discipline in their sphere of influence at Tufts.

We invite you to complete this application for consideration! Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
