[For Faculty, Staff, and Students]

The Tufts Inclusive Education Series (TIES) is a learning series designed to create space for community members to engage in thoughtful conversations about timely topics shaping our institution and the broader national landscape. This series aims to deepen our understanding, strengthen critical thinking, and engage with complex topics from multiple perspectives. The following are the goals for the series:

  • offer Tufts community members an opportunity to critically engage with some of the most pressing issues of today;
  • promote continuous learning and capacity building through fostering a culture of curiosity, care, and discovery; and,
  • learn practical inclusion skills to advocate for positive change.

In each session, we will bring together a panel of experts whose research and experiences span the topical areas under discussion. These presenters will offer knowledge, research-based insights, and nuanced perspectives that illuminate the complexities of these issues.

This series serves as an entry point for ongoing collective learning and action and aligns closely with our broader inclusive educational programming strategy. Grounded in our commitment to connection, learning, dialogue, and collaboration, each session creates opportunities for relationship-building and learning in community.
