Mobilizing change requires collective effort, and we invite you to be part of this transformative movement. We are excited to connect with you to learn about your input and perspective for inclusive excellence at Tufts. Here’s how you can engage:

  1. Join us at the IIE Fall Reception for the ELEVATE Launch
    • Register for the IIE Fall 2024 Reception: Join us on October 23 to get updates from the IIE office regarding key priorities and strategic vision for the year including more details about ELEVATE. Event takes place in-person with food and music between 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on the Medford campus and the presentation portion will be live streamed between 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. (approximately).
    • All Tufts community members are invited to register for an upcoming community session where you will have the opportunity to share your input, perspectives, and feedback for collective action towards shared goals to advance institutional inclusive excellence. Attend the reception on 10/23 to receive more details including a follow-up email with a registration link for one of several community sessions this semester.

  2. Learn More About ELEVATE
  3. Take Action by Becoming an ELEVATOR
    • Advancing inclusive excellence and DEIJA (diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and access) at Tufts requires all of us! Students, staff, administrators, faculty, alumni, and other community members are invited to serve as ELEVATE ambassadors by signing up to become an ELEVATOR. In this role, you will learn about concrete actions anyone can take even in their day-to-day interactions to create a culture of inclusive excellence at Tufts. Stay tuned for more information including an info session by the end of the fall semester.

  4. Subscribe to Receive ELEVATE Updates and Resources
  5. Share ELEVATE with Your Network
    • Share with your friends and colleagues what you have learned about ELEVATE and inclusive excellence.
    • Encourage others to explore the ELEVATE website to learn more and find resources to spread awareness across campus.
    • Start conversations with others about the importance of diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and access (DEIJA) for achieving a culture of inclusion at Tufts.
