As an ELEVATOR, you will serve as both ambassador and contributor for the work of ELEVATE, a multi-year campaign that aims to make significant coordinated institutional progress around shared goals of institutional inclusive excellence. Students, staff, faculty and administrators are invited to join this community of learners to reflect, ideate, and strategize together on the concrete actions that foster a culture of inclusive excellence. ELEVATORs may have the opportunity to work alongside ELEVATE Liaisons in their schools or units to contribute to goal-setting and action planning at the local level.

The learning outcomes for the program are for participants to:

  • Understand the role and importance of strategic visioning and the impact this has for individuals within the institution
  • Feel empowered to be an agent of change in operationalizing strategies for inclusive excellence through individualized action planning
  • Serve as an informed community member and overall ELEVATE ambassador to encourage inclusive behaviors within their department, school, or unit

Participants who complete at least 8 sessions will earn a microcredential badge in Inclusion Skills for Institutional Change.
