Rikki Morrow-Spitzer, M.S.W.
Rikki Morrow-Spitzer (she/her) currently serves as an Associate Director for Inclusive Student Engagement. Prior to Tufts, Rikki worked in the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) at the University of Michigan as a program manager. At Michigan, Rikki managed and implemented the School of Music, Theatre & Dance’s 5-Year DEI Strategic Plan, founded and led a DEI advisory board and DEI action teams, and oversaw a robust DEI professional development series for students, faculty and staff.
She has experience establishing inclusive and equitable hiring processes, creating synchronous and asynchronous learning materials on topics such as inclusive teaching, and served as a strategic partner to units across the university including Michigan Medicine and Michigan’s School of Public Health.
Rikki received both her bachelor and master’s degrees from the University of Michigan, earning a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Social Policy and Evaluation. She is passionate about creating and implementing inclusive and socially just policies and practices and is honored to be able to bring her experience and enthusiasm to Tufts.

Get to Know Rikki
In her personal time, Rikki enjoys being outside, listening to podcasts, and painting. As a classically trained musician, she loves combining her commitment to DEI with the arts, particularly by working on initiatives that bring music programming into prison facilities.
